	Take Action to Free the Israeli Soldiers Sign a petition to U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon urging him to make every effort to ensure that the abducted Israeli soldiers are alive and well and will be immediately returned to their families. To learn more, click here.

	Stop the Threat of a Nuclear Iran Iran's nuclear development program is a threat to global security. This issue is of grave concern to the Jewish community because it not only poses a threat to the world, in particular U.S. interests, but also to the very existence of Israel. 	The Food Stamp Challenge A total of over 35 million individuals, including nearly 13 million children, are currently living in poverty in the U.S. The Food Stamp Program, included under the Farm Bill, is up for reauthorization. While it passed the House in July 2007 and the Senate in December 2007, as of late March 2008, a committee is trying to reconcile the two versions.
